I've said before that missing chances will hurts us against good opposition and today it happened. Olsen was rusty and Kenneth is lacking in confidence.
We were sloppy at the beginning, passing across the back four into trouble. Chee Wah u need to improve ur awareness, a couple of times u really should have cleared the ball instead of controlling it.
Overall we played well, and could easily have won. We jus need that composure in front of goal.
I realised actually Soon is pretty good as a outfield player as well. He had a very good spell at left back. So i guess that solves the problem of having two keepers cos Soon can play outfield. And hopefully Fong can join us on a permanent basis.

What on earth happened to the team? This was our lowest attendance ever. Only 8 turned up for the game. I hope this is a one-off and we just happen to have many ppl involved in camps and what nots. And importantly: PLS GET A PAIR OF SPARE GLOVES cos thats the least we can give for a rookie keeper when Siqian or Alex's bro cant make it.
It was a superb performance from us really. Somehow we seem to play best when we are short of players. Even without Keesiang we should have won the game. Kept our shape very well and forced them to play long balls. But i think we gotta stay closer to our opponents and win the aerial challenges when the long ball is played. We stand off them too much. Attacking wise we need to play short passing more. We rush things too much sometime. Overall did very well to endure the heat.
Wen hao had a good game for a rookie keeper, and the goal really was unlucky.

Roger-Wasnt your usual self. But u were sick.
Chee Wah-Had a good game. I think u should play more often even if there are many subs. Don spend so much time on the bench
Rizal-Non stop running. Need more composure in front of goal
Jin-Need to play less long balls.
Kenneth- Show more confidence in front of goal. Its jus a loss of form. U definitely have tha ability. Jus try to get the scoring touch back
Guo wei- Gotta take better penalties than that. Was a menace down the left wing and good work rate as usual

Apologies for such a late match review. Been busy.. We paid for our slow start to the game. 2 goals down early on, and two very soft goals at that. For the first goal, the keeper has got to be alert to come off his line to collect the cross if its so near the goal line, cos there was no way Roger can hook the ball out while back tracking without scoring an own goal, unless he does a bicycle kick. The second goal was very poor. The defence, esp the left and right back have got to tuck into the centre when Clement is taking the goal kick, cos there will not be offside since he's so deep, and if u dont tuck in, there is a huge gap in the defence. So when Clement is taking goal kicks, the defence becomes a 3 man defence.
Remember, during goal kicks, if the opposition midfield is very deep and u think Clement can play the short pass, the left and right back can pull wide. If he is playing the long kick, tuck in to the centre. Clement can coordinate.
As for the attack, we showed good character to get back to 2-2. In the end its a fair scoreline cos both teams had enough chances to win. But we definitely could have won if we were sharper.
